Work with us, and together we make positive news go mainstream

The success of the Positive News Foundation largely depends on the efforts of volunteers. Volunteers are the voice of the Positive News Foundation, spreading the best positive news throughout the world.

With the PNF you can make a positive impact in your area with just 2-5 hours a week for as long as is convenient for you. You can work for the Positive News Foundation wherever you want, when you want and how you want – we are 100% virtual, 100% flexible and 100% looking forward in meeting with you online.

We are always looking for people who want to strengthen our team and who want to contribute ideas about the further development of the foundation. For example, you can help us with simple tasks such as:

• Researching positive articles on the Internet;
• Sharing positive news on our website or social media;
• Coordination, promotion and fundraising;
• We also regularly have interesting (expertise) projects.

We have 2 types of online volunteering:

1. Micro e-volunteering: bite-sized virtual volunteering micro-actions that you can do right now, and without any commitment, or
2. Online volunteering: committing to help grow positive news for 3 to 6 months – or longer if YOU wish so – where we will provide training and community. We will ask you to sign a Volunteer Agreement in the onboarding process.

Volunteering at the PNF

With your efforts, you actively contribute to strengthening the position of positive news in the world. But how do you know if this volunteering is right for you as a person?

Because we have many different volunteer opportunities, all 100% online, you can see for yourself what suits you best, whatever your location. We do our best to ensure that the job you want to do matches your wishes. View the vacancies to see if there is anything in between, and if you have a great idea of your own, we’d love to hear it. An international team

If you do volunteer work at the Positive News Foundation, it does not only mean something for positive world news. You will also come into contact with an enthusiastic group of English-speaking international volunteers.

We currently use a smartphone app where we can meet our active volunteers, and you can meet other internationals both in The Netherlands and abroad. Help PNF, help positive news go mainstream, and yourself to some international friends.

We are looking at the possibility to organize once a year a(n online) meeting, and other fun and interesting online games with our volunteers. Without our virtual volunteers, there would be no Positive News Foundation and we would like to show that appreciation – despite our limited resources.
